Chinese New Year Celebrations in Room 15

Today Room 15 shared stories and craft activities to celebrate Chinese New Year. The students made lanterns, Chinese dragons and fortune tellers. We shared stories about the Lantern Festival and the characteristics of children born in The Year of the Dog. 

We wish all of the families celebrating Chinese New Year this weekend a Happy New Year and best of luck for 2018!

We hope you all had a wonderful holiday and you are enjoying Auckland Anniversary Holiday!!  We are looking forward to a great year of learning together!

I look forward to meeting you on Tuesday morning.  Remember to bring your stationery to school, including your whiteboard and polydockets from last year if you have them at home.  Our swimming days are Monday and Wednesday, so have your swimming bag ready to go for Wednesday as well.
